move it, shift it, TRANFORM IT!

section7: reflection about x-axis
reflection about the x-axis basically means the graph will be reflected on the opposite side of the x-axis i.e. the y-coordinates are multiplied by -1.
take the following y=f(x) for example:
the graph cuts the y-axis at y=2

for a y=-f(x), the graph will be reflected about the x-axis and all the y-coordinates will be multiplied by -1.
hence this graph will cut the y-axis at y=-2 instead.

e.g. y = x + 2

in a nutshell, for y-coordinate y, upon reflection about the x-axis, it will become -y.

okok here goes your next question!

the following graph undergoes a tranformation to form y=-h(x).

choose the correct y=-h(x) graph.
